Software Giant Pays Fine

Microsoft called as the software giant is charged for opposing business monopoly. The company pinned down the customer by giving a bundle offer of Internet explorer Web Browser with the purchase of Operating system. This restricted the choice of Mozilla firefox among the customers which frustrated the rival companies. The market research in February says that the share of internet explorer in the global market is 67.4% and Mozilla with 22%. The EU antitrust authority commission has fined $1.19 billion on Microsoft for the antitrust charges. Microsoft in the reply to the commission on April 18th has agreed that the choice of selecting the web browser can be given to the customers.
